Making Christ Visible in God’s Community
Our mission statement succinctly states who we are as a people here at Holy Cross. We are committed to seeking and serving God wherever we see God at work in any of God’s communities, near and far.
From selling pumpkins for Habitat for Humanity and other charities here in the Upstate to sending a mission team to Ecuador, we strive to use our gifts and talents to serve the world in the name of Jesus Christ. This mission statement is our “immune system” that aids us as a body to determine what is “of us” and what is “foreign” to us. One question—“Will this help us make Christ visible in God’s community?”—keeps us on the path that God has called us to walk as a people.
