We’re Revving Up!

Holy Cross’ annual Pumpkin Patch sends tens of thousands of dollars out into the community for good works. Over 9,000 pumpkins in all shapes and sizes arrive in three semi trucks. Roughly 8,000 men women and children are expected visit the patch over the course of 26 days – unless we sell out sooner.

Working alongside others from Holy Cross to make this happen is one of the best non-paying jobs you’ll ever have. There’s guaranteed fellowship, smiles, laughter and fun! But most importantly is the shared the joy that comes from achieving something greater than ourselves.

There are jobs for everyone’s abilities and availabilities. The patch opens October 6, 2018 so please sign up today!

Faith in Action & Race and Reconciliation Presents:  An Open Discussion
Saturday, September 29 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

As some of you may know, our Diocese of Upper SC has a Race and Reconciliation committee that was formed 2 years ago.  Holy Cross also has a Faith in Action committee.  The two committees are hosting an open discussion to further conversations and understanding with our brothers and sisters in Christ regarding improvement of race relations.  Neither committee is saying they have the answers, but they are passionate and compassionate in this work to assist the people in our Episcopal churches of our Diocese to open up discussions about race relations.  All voices will be lovingly heard. We encourage the members of the youth group to attend also.  A simple lunch will be provided.
