Caring Connection
As a parish seeking to make Christ visible in God’s community, one of our goals is to express the love of God through caring relationships and through attentive care and support in times of need. As a community we express our Christian love through our Caring Connection- a number of ministries that address different needs within the parish.
Eucharistic Visitors
Qualified volunteer individuals bring the Eucharist to individuals who due to illness, infirmity or living arrangements such as an assisted living environment are not able to attend church services. This is available on request.
Pastoral Visitors
Grief Booklets
Booklets are distributed to grieving family members to assist in the healing process. A series of four booklets are provided over the course of a year. Additionally personal notes are added.
Card Ministry
Cards are provided on a monthly basis to parishioners when there is a surgery or other illness or when there is a death or loss in the family, friend of family or a pet.
Grief Support Group
Med Shed
Members have donated a variety of durable medical equipment which is loaned to other members free of charge when needed following a surgery, illness or for end of life care.
There are several Eucharistic Visitors who take communion to those who are unable to attend church services. Visits are made as a result of knowledge of members situations or through communications from friends or family. Requests can be made through the church office or directly to the Rector.
